A fundamental professional education is the best foundation for a successful professional life. That is why, according to Owner, Werner Knapheide, the company places such value in the highest quality training of young people and thereby also assumes societal responsibility for the region. Particularly in times where the efficiency of school education is being discussed in a somewhat controversial light, it becomes all the more important to take on this task with commitment and a sense of responsibility toward those being educated.

Currently 7 young men are learning the trade of chipping and industrial mechanics, as well as competent finishing. An additional trainee is learning the profession of industrial sales. After successful examination the trainees will be accepted into the Knapheide group, because for years it has been a successful company policy to fill positions in the company with as much new blood as possible.

For 01.08.2007, 3 new trainees will pursue the occupations of chipping mechanic, industrial mechanic, and industrial salesman.

After their successful final examinations as industrial salespeople, Maren Brockmeyer and Geraldine Rüpp were accepted into employment.
